Ford is back at the Nürburgring with an updated Mustang GTD after Chevrolet’s Corvette ZR1X stole the “fastest American car” title. New aero upgrades aim to help the 815-hp supercharged beast cut a few more seconds from its lap time. The battle between Mustang and Corvette is heating up again, but can Ford take the crown back?

Unfortunately @OmniFocus doesn't have a Linux App (and i don't want to use the webclient w/ a seperate subscription by the way...)

So i'm looking for a cross platform taskmanager, with end-to-end encrypted sync.
Anyone in the Fediverse found a good App?

I tried Superproductivity, but the sync was horrible, and the app is buggy ':(
Plus points for a non-US app... #eu #DigitalSovereignty

🎙️ The Podcast 224 - The 2-Minute Rule - I love how the AI co-hosts discuss my writing - instead of reading my essay on the famous #GTD 2-minute rule, they talk about it in an engaging way - don’t you think? Take a listen (only 20 min) and let me know!

The Podcast 224 - The 2-Minute Rule

I’m a great fan of GTD - Getting Things Done methodology by David Allen and as the founder of Nozbe, I love my simple structure of projects, tasks and comments. However, there are tasks that don’t even go there, because if getting them done takes me less than 2 minutes, I just do them without even adding them to my system. Recently, I’ve been taking the 2-minute rule to a whole new level and you can read all about it in my essay at michael.team/2min or you can just listen to the AI co-hosts discussing all the examples where I’ve successfully applied this rule to improve my productivity. Enjoy!

Finished another weekly #gtd review. I used to do these on Fridays, but lately I've been doing then on Mondays. Now that it's Spring, I've been doing then outside, which is nice. The takeaway from this week is that I have too many stalled projects (project = thing that requires more than one step to complete). I have to remind myself that putting in a small amount of time consistently is the way to go when there there aren't huge pockets of time available.

The point of GTD (Getting Things Done) weekly reviews is not to do them every week like clockwork. It's to do them often enough that you feel in control of your system.

Doing a weekly every two months is too seldom for me.

Ma póbaképp feltettem ezt az Omnifocus MCP servert, és bekötöttem Claude-ba:
https://github.com/themotionmachine/OmniFocus-MCP

@peaoPerdido First, #syncthing is brilliant, paired with Orgzly Revived for years. But yes, conflicts can arise during mobile capture.

My strategy has been to have a separate capture.org file in my Org directory. It only gets written to on mobile, and it gets treated as read-only from Emacs. Then I org-refile those mobile-capture headings into my main #GTD file anytime I'm doing process/organize steps.

Ever notice how unfinished tasks stay in your head?

In GTD, they’re called “open loops”—and they can quietly reduce your ability to focus.

This article explains why—and how to close them to regain clarity. I recognised a few of my own habits 🙂
