Opening Prompt: Odyssey

I'm gonna try and really challenge myself to do more of a retro look for each of these so they look kinda like an old cell for the show back in the day
Which in turn means a LOT of ignoring parts that I think SHOULD be shaded when they in fact would not be lmao
I realize it's never gonna look exactly like the Toei animation because Im not particularly interested in matching them one to one BUT I wanna get like, close y'know?

MAN THAT DUEL KARNEVAL OUTFIT HUH?

I just think that people should get a little weird with the way they hang out in the Puzzle is all.

It's a slight accompaniment to a fic I wrote earlier last year but not in any direct way. I just really want them to harmonize is all :3 :3

Man oh MAN this is one Im still obviously VERY proud of! I had such a blast thinking this one through and figuring out exactly how I wanted Yami to look overpowering and poised atop Yuugi's chest, but also weirdly curious. I was also finally confident with how to draw Yami's eyes here which helped a lot!
This vest continues to haunt me, it makes so little sense
