I think this is the same plot as the 2020 #cdrama #YouAreMyDestiny (which was very contrived but I also loved it? 9/10)

This was an enjoyable watch. As ridiculous it started off as and had equally ridiculous plot twists. It was FUN to watch.
Xing Zhao Lin was a very fun male lead to watch. His face is endlessly expressive. He was funny and angry and sad and tired and destroyed and horny and happy so well.
Liang Jie really transformed her character from the shy Jiaxin to the confident Elaine.
Li Jiu Lin was excellent as the second male lead. You know it is a good SML when you root for him.
I can see myself watching this more than once. It was really good. And the OST was good. And their filming locations were great.
I recommend!
