#YiFuxian is a #US medical researcher on Chinese #demographics who has been highlighting China's demographic problem for a decade. His published "Big Country With an Empty Nest" in 2007 was promptly banned in #China. In 2014 it was republished and celebrated in China .

He states that China's aging population is very similar to #Japan's demographic and economic crash in the 1990s. Interesting but chilling reading, huge implications for China.
