Visa-free travel to China is convenient, but you can still be denied entry at their border. Even worse is they let you in and then detain you.

#China plays loose with their citizenship, when it is to their advantage. Using "jus soli" birthright citizenship, if you are born in China, HK, Macao or even #Taiwan you are automatically a Chinese citizen.

China also does not recognize dual citizenship, so your second passport is invalid in China. You must be very careful.

#Russia implemented an export ban on gasoline, on top of its diesel ban, effective Apr 01 2026. In a time of high gas prices this is surprising, as RUS could be profiting from this scarcity. #Ukraine must have done significant damage to RUS gas infrastructure.

How will this affect #China and #India gas imports? Are gas shipments from Iran getting to China? No free pass for China.

China oil tankers seem to be getting through the Strait of Hormuz, Oil from #Iran 1M barrels/day vs regular flow of 1.7M barrels/day. Not terrible at all.

Further #China has deployed a high tech surveillance ship LiaoWang-1 to the Gulf of Oman to suck up all the #US data flowing through Middle East. There is a lot of signal intelligence to learn for China. Sort of like watching a long movie.
