I've been listening to the new Bill Callahan album YTILAER and I have to say the production on the album is pretty odd. It's like they recorded the album once as an acoustic album. Then recorded electric jams using the acoustic tracks as guide tracks. Finally put the two together with the electric stuff mostly low in the mix. Puzzling. Definitely enjoyed the new songs more live than the mixes on the album.
