Any XQuartz users on here ? I've been using it with x2go. Every time I move to a different workspace, the window disappears and is really hard to get back...

Any XQuartz users who have managed to make sense of this UI ? Apple UIX so borked and dysfunctional :( At least I can go back to a linux box at work through XQuartz. Oh wait, no I can't...

If I want to display #Ubuntu GUI apps on my #Macbook, is #Xquartz and #X11 still the way to go? Or has something better come along?

I’ve managed to get #fvwm3 running under #xquartz on #macos without too much trouble. Certainly minimal changes to #fvwm3 itself.

I’m still undecided how useful it is compared to a virtual machine. But I can see myself using this.
