After yesterday’s #Rover #SD1 estate, another never-produced big British load carrier in the form of this 1992 prototype #Jaguar #XJ40 station wagon, although the #BritishMotorMuseum where it is housed prefers the traditional British description for a vehicle of this type - shooting brake. It was developed at Jaguar’s design and engineering centre at Whitley (Coventry), a facility that was originally built for the #RootesGroup. #WeirdCarMastodon #davidsdailycar
