For this #mayke, I have slavishly copied today's #mayke from @concretedog and made an LED n00d light for the #xteink #x4

For today's #mayke, I re-made the cover for the #xteink #x4 using some scrap fabric we had around. This one has the built-in magnets to keep it closed, which seem to work well.

The second attempt at making mitered corners certainly went better than the last one. Much learning had here!

#Xteink is currently working on blocking firmware flashing on the #X4. What a smart move. Maybe the best option to kill your success.

The hardware is amazing, but they’ve put almost no effort into making the software even decent. The community really stepped up to fill that gap, and honestly, that’s been a huge part of the company’s success.
Things are still a bit unclear as it sounds like overseas products might not be affected, but either way, this feels like a dumb move.
