The win in the elite men's #Krawatencross in #Lille was for Laurens Sweeck who dropped Lars van der Haar halfway into the final lap and kept him at a few seconds all the way to the finish.
Van der Haar makes up some of the deficit in the overall standings of the #X2Obadkamerstrofee, but not enough to make for an open fight at the finals of these series in Brussels.

Six of a total of eight laps have been ridden in the elite men's #Krawatencross in #Lille.
Laurens Sweeck and Lars van der Haar are still in the lead, with Eli Iserbyt leading the chase 16secs further down. Iserbyt has Pim Ronhaar on his wheel, a team mate of van der Haar who has no intention to close the gap to the leaders. Keep in mind the overall standings of the #X2Obadkamerstrofee are calculated based on time, not points and positions.

Fem van Empel attacked hard in the third lap of the elite women's race in #Lille, and only Ceylin Alvarado can keep up with her. Brand and Worst have been dropped and are following with a gap of a couple of seconds.

And it's a catastrophic start for Fem van Empel to the Krawatencross in #Lille: the overall leader in the #X2Obadkamerstrofee seemed to have some drivetrain issues, spinning a much too small gear and getting swamped.

The penultimate race of the #X2Obadkamerstrofee is being raced in #Lille today. Sadly neither Wout van Aert nor Sanne Cant as local heroes will take the start today.
But Fem van Empel will be showing her rainbow jersey for the first time since winning it, and naturally she's the big favourite for the win in the elite women's race that start at 1.45pm CET, with elite men's race to start at 3pm CET.
