Substack is proud of hosting serial rapist Andrew Tate. Why is anyone who's not a Nazi still on there? Why? I can sort of understand the "I can't give up X/FB/IG because that's where all my people are" argument, but Substack literally just hosts blogs/newsletters. You can go anywhere. You can switch to Ghost.

Strange paragraph about Threads and the fediverse:

“Threads is also the largest platform running on the ActivityPub protocol, allowing users to share posts to Mastodon, WordPress, and other fediverse-compatible services. Meta says it has interacted with over 75% of all fediverse servers, though full account portability is not yet available.”

It doesn’t “run” on ActivityPub and its integration with the fediverse is stifled, at best.
