A Grief Observed
I've held on to my grief, as if it was a life to cling to. What I didn't realise was this:
It held me captive in the shadows between the past, and the presence.
It hurt like hell to release it. As if what once has been now really was gone. But love sets free. And if it is true, it will return to you.
For me it did. Where once was a hole in my heart, now resides light.
