MercèEl 14 de juliol de 1960 Jane Goodall va visitar per primera vegada la reserva coneguda avui com a Parc Nacional Gombe Stream a Tanzània. La seva missió consistia a estudiar el comportament dels ximpanzés per a comprendre millor l'evolució humana.
L'any 2009, vaig tenir la sort de passar uns dies en la Reserva veient molt a prop als ximpanzés, gaudir de la selva i del llac Tanganyika.
