I'll be working with kids at a museum over the school holidays, and I want to wear a proper mask, but I also need to be unintimidating and approachable.

Anyone know where in Australia I can get reputable n95s (or equivalent) that are patterned or fun colours that fit an adult with a large head? Bonus if they have dinosaurs on them but I'm not in a position to be fussy.

Sitting at work, waiting for my class to start. Stinking migraine behind one eye but can’t take the strong stuff til I get home as it makes me sleepy. Not looking forward to the noise of the little munchkins today. And that’s on top of the normal Friday ferals they all seem to acquire heading in to the weekend.

I love my job and I love the kids, but really not feeling it today!

Can I just sit in the corner and draw pictures on balloons?

For anyone who thinks they did something embarrassing at work today, let me offer this up in comparison:

I was taking a bunch of high school kids for school sport and stepped backwards off the lowest balance beam in the gym (it’s literally 10cm high) and, because of my stupid sciatic nerve being stupid, why whole leg collapsed and I literally crumpled to the floor.

Luckily, the kids were concerned and not amused.

I have another 4 hour shift ahead of me and I cannot use one of my legs. I cannot climb stairs properly and live 3 flights up.

Can someone come chop my leg off please?
