One month since the launch of the #workcation visa, or the F-1-D, which allows foreigners to work remotely in #Korea for an extended period, only seven people have applied for the visa as of Jan. 31, according to the Ministry of Justice.

日本政府は、IT関連などの海外企業で働く労働者向けに新しいタイプのビザを導入する。旅行者向けビザだと、最長滞在期間が90日だし、働けない。これは6か月間の滞在ができるビザで、リモートワークなどをしながら、観光も楽しんでもらおうというものらしい。発給条件は、年収1000万（6万8000米ドル）以上で、日本との間でビザ相互免除の取り決めがある50か国と地域の市民。さらに民間医療保険への加入も必要。
