Apparently the entry for #Eurovision from #Australia is now second favourite.

Australia.

In Eurovision.

I've never really got on the Eurovision bandwagon, although I have friends who love it. Maybe I'll have to watch it if the entry from Australia has a chance.

Interesting if they win ... then next year I assume it would be hosted in Australia, which according to various internet conspiracy theories doesn't exist ...

So much of writing is saying to my family, 'you know that thing that looks like this? what's the word for it?'

and it happens so often I wonder how I manage to even talk most of the time

An unfortunately useful pair of words I just discovered, and will try to remember (ahem): "lethologia" & "lethonomia." They mean the (hopefully temporary) inability to recall the right word or name, respectively.

From Greek "lethe" (forgetfulness), plus "logos" (word) or "nom" (name).

When you know it, and it’s exactly what you're trying to say. It's right on the tip of your tongue.

It's just not coming out of your mouth ...
