I wonder if this will dry if I just hoist it into the rafters of the barn like that. Lets find out!

Caught up on the woodchipping by working in the rain.
Took a while to clean the muddy boots and the gloves are soaked but all the spring shrubbery is taken care of.
Hit something hard that made a loud clunk but didn't stop the chipper (there's a slip clutch on the PTO shaft just in case), probably an ingrown nail or rock. Woodchipper needed a bit of filing on one of the knives but ran fine again after that.
Debushification.
It went slowly. The wrist ached, the gnarly, thorny shrubs were difficult to stuff into the shredder and some spectators came by for a demonstration of the chipper (friends of wife, so I obliged).
Still, one area got cleaned up and should be maintainable now. Just a few bits of firewood to collect.
Buggered wrist or not, the show must go on (carefully).
Fetched the Red Dragon and giving it some lube and dental cleaning before putting it to work.
More woodchips. Maple edition with Virginia creeper that was inseparable.
Kinda annoying to feed into the chipper as it was all stuck together with those annoying vines, so you couldn't just pick up one branch at a time.
Now it's keeping the mud at bay where the cars park.
That concludes the woodchipping for now. Got some branch piles left in the forest, but upon inspection they were a lot smaller than I remembered :)
Thorny fuckers.
Got to be super careful throwing these in the chipper. They go through thick leather gloves like through wet paper.
I guess you could make sewing needles from them.
