There I was one day as a high school sophomore toward the end of the 1980 school year cruising around in a ‘65 Opel Kadet with John “Reeker” Reeves (rhythm guitarist for the aforementioned high school band “White Rock”) and he throws “Women And Children First” in the cassette deck. That little Opel’s stereo kicked some ass!
