Why do most of the #Stalker2 (Lesser Zone) characters all make me feel like i'm on #Windscale / #Sellafied #UK island, instead of the eastern european #Chornobyl exclusion zone?

Is it the Bri'ish accent? 😅

Sorry, i don't speak #Ukrainian, yet - i'm from Germany, so English is my best effort.

I hope this accent "cleans up", when i progress deeper into the ZONE! 😅

I've expected more of an eastern Euro accent, instead of a variety of pristine UK/AU types. 😉 ..rolling Rs, "kh" phonems, the-like!

Heute vor 68 Jahren: Am 9. Oktober 1957 kam es zu einem drastischen Temperaturanstieg im #Kernreaktor #Windscale (heute #Sellafield) Pile 1, der am Vortag eingeleitet wurde. Fehlende Temperaturmessstellen und unzureichende Überwachung führten zu kritischen Werten über 400 °C.

Heute vor 68 Jahren: Am 8. Oktober 1957 wurde der #Kerneaktor Pile 1 in #Windscale (heute #Sellafield) trotz fehlender Messstellen weiter aufgeheizt was zwei Tage später unbemerkt in einen Brand mündete und zum schlimmsten #Nuklearunfall (INES 5) in #Großbritannien führte.
