I really like #MarsEdit for simple blog posting from the #Mac. It doesn't hold a candle to the #WindowsLiveWriter/#OpenLiveWriter apps on #Windows, but I don't spend as much time sequestered away in the back room where the ultra-technology lives and this app serves the minimal purpose I need it for.

I've been taking another look at #SetApp. Damn it. I don't have the money to spare on a sub right now but it includes MarsEdit, #Dato and some other Mac stuff that I like. Hmm.

Aight #Mac #software nerds. What would be a good local client for Wordpress that allows you to create blog entries? Something similar to #OpenLiveWriter for Windows (https://www.openlivewriter.com) or the now-defunct #WindowsLiveWriter?

I've found #MarsEdit. It looks really good, but it isn't free. Need free or freemium. Anything better out there? Needs to have an xml-rpc interface etc that allows direct publishing to a self-hosted WP site. https://redsweater.com/marsedit/
