We love spotting a pretty plant growing out of a wall! In this case, it's a fern along Victoria Road in Swindon.

If you've got a photo of a wild plant staking their claim on a wall, post it in the comments!

The goal of our #WildlifeWalk is for participants to get out and enjoy the countryside, and letting us know what they see of the natural world. We want to hear from everyone who walks our 175 route - tell us where you've walked (in any direction along our general route) and send us your drawings, writings, and photographs of the nature you've seen along the way. https://www.richardjefferies.org/wildlife-walk

Wildlife Walk

And we're off!

Big thanks to everyone who came out to the museum on Saturday to celebrate Earth Day with us. It was also the perfect time to kick off our #WildlifeWalk! We are hoping that a huge community effort will help us cover the 175 mile route. It starts from Jefferies' grave in Worthing and takes us via all the main places where he lived in his short life, ending up back at his birthplace (the museum) on his 175th birthday.

Our gardens are coming alive again!
