I'd lived near there in the '90s in Auburn when they were merely talking about building the venue and after moving to the Olympic Penninsula, never thought I'd end up at a concert there. Or get to see Joan. But what a great event, and venue! I was in college, working at Tacoma Tower Records when Joan's first big album "I love rock ‘n’ roll" came out in November 1981. We played that album in the store a lot and when I first learned about Joan's origins with, The Runaways. Long a fan of Joan's since then. After seeing Alanis perform last night? Even more of a fan of hers. Seriously, what a concert! The woman is a teacup of gelignite (OK, "a stick of dynamite"). What a powerhouse! And along with Joan?
