Should we really be considering #WhiteMetal (#christianMetal) bands as #folkMetal?
I think it's appropriate.
Is there an argument that because it started as the opposite of #blackMetal that it should be its own thing? Or, possibly even fall into black metal in the same way that #luciferianism is #christianity?
I feel like there's too much emphesis on the judeo-christian #mythos these days. To me, slotting white metal bands as folk metal places it squarely where it belongs. Fables about dieties/et. al. that 50% or 100% do **not** exist, as fun as they are.
Although, part of the fun of black metal is the anti. lol. It's a reflection on society.
