Once there was a wheat field, by an old pioneer cemetery. I went there often, to finish off rolls of film, to test new film stocks, to be alone and contemplate. Sometimes I'd be out there with my revolver on my hip, and I would think about another wheat field, in France, where a man named Vincent once painted, but paints no more. I will never see this wheat field again. I am gone, far away now.
