Bodo HeyeIn our #westmarshes inspired #shadowdark campaign (three GMs), one GM runs adventures in a gothy #Ravenloft inspired region. It seems to me that #Shadowdark is well-suited to support a Ravenloft-type of game (#dnd fantasy + gothic horror trappings). Although SD‘s mechanics are mainly geared towards dungeon delving, the game’s focus on darkness as a major threat and the comparably „fragile“ PCs are a good fit for horror-infused fantasy adventure gaming. #Valland #osr 1/2
Christer EnforsI feel I would benefit from sitting down, having a deep think about what I actually want, and writing down some guidelines. Kind of like the #WestMarshes guy did (sorry, don't know his name), and Justin Alexander's #OpenTable approach.
I'm not saying what I would write would be as innovative as any of that, but nevertheless, I feel like it would be a "journey of self-discovery" in a sense. To get to know more about how to get the most enjoyment possible out of my #TTRPG campaign.
