The Monterey County Jail’s #healthcare #provider, #Wellpath, is fighting the release of some 30 reports by monitors on conditions at the facility, where #deaths have occurred, along with accusations about the state of medical care.

While the only answer to the issues of prisons is #abolition, I believe that there are better ways to facilitate living organ and #BoneMarrow donation for #incarcerated people
It would start with removing #Wellpath as the #MADOC healthcare provider so that we could ensure potential donors receive the right aftercare following invasive procedures&surgery. It is clear incarcerated people are not served by WellPath
