Welcome to the Ballroom Anime to Overtake Manga | MANGA.TOKYO

It has been made clear that the anime adaptation of currently airing anime Welcome to the Ballroom (Ballroom e Youkoso) will overtake the story of the manga by Tomo Takeuchi. The news was revealed in a tweet on the official Welcome to the Ballroom twitter page, with a comment by Takeuchi, The tweet reads: "Thank you very much to the cast and staff for creating such a wonderful anime. I had planned for the manga and anime to carry on at the same pace after the Tokyo Metropolitan DanceSport Tournament, but due to delays in the manga, the anime will be overtaking it. Although I haven't written the chapters yet, I have decided what I want to happen and have let the anime staff know. However, there is the possibility that plans can change, and the developments of the story after the tournament Cup may end up differing in the anime and manga. I hope you can enjoy both the manga and the anime adaptation."

Welcome to the Ballroom Episode 18 Review: Competitor No. 13 | MANGA.TOKYO

While Tatara and his partner Chi-chan had a big breakthrough in the last episode of Welcome to the Ballroom, we have yet to see how it works out. And what better than an actual competition to do so? The stakes are also high, because they promised to stop dancing with each other if they don't win this challenge... So let's see how well they work together this week! Japanese Title: 背番号13 Heat. 18 Competitor No. 13 It's the day of the competition and Tatara and Chi-chan are here to face the Kugimiya-pair and Aki-chan-pair as well as a bunch of other competitors. They seem motivated and master the first few rounds with great results. As soon as they are off the dancefloor, they start discussing. Of course, Gaju, Kiyoharu, Mako-chan, and Shizuku are there to cheer them on. Even Chi-chan's family came to cheer her on and the families of Aki and her partner are there as well, making a great commotion. It causes Chi-chan to call Tatara a coward, because he still hasn't told his family about

Welcome to the Ballroom Episode 17 Review: Performer | MANGA.TOKYO

For this week's episode of Welcome to the Ballroom, we are invited to their training camp! Aside from training, there will be a lot of interaction between the members, a bit of sexy fanservice for both male and female viewers, and a big breakthrough for our main performers. Japanese title: 表現者 Heat 17. Performer All of our beloved dance pairs came together to train for the upcoming tournament. Tatara and Chi-chan have a big fight with the other couples getting involved. They try to help them find each other and face their problems they have. Marisa puts Kiyoharu in charge of training them and Kiyoharu is doing such a bad job at it that Shizuku jumps in and helps out as well. While the whole experience should help Tatara and Chi-chan, there are too many problems building up, like Chi-chan learning about Tatara dancing with Mako-chan. Mako thinks Tatara was a great leader and he helped her become a better dancer. She feels inferior and is a bit jealous, which only complicates the

[Kyomaf 2017] Welcome to the Ballroom Stage Event Report | MANGA.TOKYO

When the stage event for Welcome to the Ballroom was announced for this year's Kyomaf (Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair), as the person in charge of the reviews for this series at MANGA.TOKYO I had to go and take a look at the voice actors, see what they had to say and write a report for our dear readers! This event served as my first ever anime convention in Japan, so I was excited about what to expect and how it would be different from conventions back home. The panels seemed like the core of the whole convention and Ballroom was one of the first stages on Saturday, 16 September 2017 as it started at 11:00 am. From left to right: Chiaki Matsuzawa, Shimba Tsuchiya and Nobuhiko Okamoto Guests on stage were the voice of Tatara Fujita, the fairly new Shimba Tsuchiya, and the voice of Kiyoharu Hyodo, the very experienced and well-known Nobuhiko Okamoto. Guiding us through the talk was Chiaki Matsuzawa, who did a nice job by asking the right questions at the right time and followed up
