Social justice is embodying the righteousness of the Kingdom of God.
That through our lives & by our prayers we might see God’s Kingdom come & God’s will be done here on earth as it is in heaven.
It’s following Jesus’ example of loving our neighbors where they are.
When Jesus returns, He will “judge all people according to their deeds.”
What do you think of this statement?

Happy Tuesday morning prayer time!

The problem with the Christian faith is that, historically, we tend to create a Jesus that looks just like us:
•hating the same people we hate
•loving the same people we love
•interpreting scripture the same way we interpret scripture
•blessing us (& not “them”)

In scripture, we see that Jesus loved children so much that He gave them His time & full attention.
Jesus still loves children so much that He gives them His time & full attention.
What might change if we began planning our Sunday community worship time with this in mind?

You must be tired & dirty.
Let me wash your feet.
The banquet’s ready.’
