Gosh, we have a 27°C max forecast for next Saturday. I'm going to need to find out why it is that we sometimes have a cooler January than December, and then go back to roasting in February - if I understand it better, the January weather won't trick me into half expecting a bearable February 😮‍💨

Huge and very very close crack of lightning, even indoors it was bright like a camera flash, and with extremely loud an apparently instantaneous bang. I'm surprised my NBN and/or power didn't go down. Now I've got rain that sounds like hail, those huge summer storm raindrops. I might go outside and stand it it for a bit. (It'd be nice to feel something...)
