Adding a face shield reduces the number of virus particles your immune system has to fight off. @BigBadDog I wear a mask because I care about protecting others & myself. I wear a shield/mask combo in unavoidable confined spaces because it offers me another layer of protection. #Covid is a #s game & not only do shields protect from airborne virus particles, they significantly reduce the chance of touching your eyes. @rhtunstall I wear a shield with my mask. I’ve done so since the beginning. It’s amazing to me how often it stops me from touching my eyes. Or makes me conscious and cautious enough to use a fresh Kleenex each time. I love that it also reduces the amount of airborne viral particles that hit your eyes when you’re talking to someone.
