As COP28 gets into full swing, It’s #WalesClimateWeek, and Transition groups are joining in!
Usk Together For The Climate holds a Climate Café tomorrow, Tuesday, and on Friday, Carmarthen Together hosts a Climate conversation in the super new community environment space Sero they've worked so hard with partners to open in their town.
All week, the Welsh government is hosting a free, open invite online conference “How do we tackle climate change in a fair way?"
Loads of good discussions for everyone everywhere! From sustainable transport that doesn't 'leave anyone standing at the bus stop', to food, nature, waste, community action, and how to make sure the transition to the future we need is just, and fair.

I've got #WalesClimateWeek on in the background as I work (that's the plan all week!) and I really liked the "Culture, Creativity and Climate Change" session - hugely appreciated the shout out cultural #freelancers got in the session as well!
There were great reflections about #heritage in a changing world, but I feel we're not treating this as a continuation of the great human tradition of adapting to change: we can change and adapt and still remember our past.
Next week is #WalesClimateWeek, giving everyone in #Wales the chance to join the conversation and contribute towards building a stronger, greener, fairer Wales.

“.@theCCCuk Chair Lord Deben #WalesClimateWeek says he dislikes people who block motorways but understands why they do it: they see how urgent this is; says there should be a "public revolt" to pressure politicians to act; and don't buy Esso bc they are the bad guys.”
We're launching our annual report at 1415h on 22nd November for #WalesClimateWeek.
