Tonight the dinner plan is what we call "scrounge" where everyone finds food we already have that can either be reheated or cooked with only very minor effort. I made a quick 'n' dirty garlic/parm pasta that I used to make back in my early 20s when I was a cook. I haven't made it since long before my kids were born.
At the first bite, I was full of nostalgia. So many memories came flooding back. By the fifth bite, I remembered always saying "this is not a first date dish." #WHOOOOOOO
