Erin Zimmer had one of the best lines at Web Directions when she said “Flexible box layout is flex box’s full name that it’s mum uses when she’s mad” 😂
@huijing’s awesome talk at Web Directions code mentioned that CSS was not initially intended to be a tool for handling layout. Which, I’ve gotta say, is surprising 🤯 but also not that surprising.
