This first session at #WACREN2025 will explore how AI and open infrastructure drive innovation in digital education and research across #Africa. Panelists will discuss the integration of #AI in research, teaching and learning, the development of open resource-sharing platforms, and strategies for ensuring equitable access to educational and research resources.
WACREN is collaborating with COBESS, CAMES and CINERI to hold a LIBSENSE Workshop on the National Roadmap for Open Science in #Senegal on April 7. Universities, researchers, librarians, NRENs, funders and policymakers will be in the room to co-define a pathway to advance #openscience, considering the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science.
