Es brodelt und dampft wieder an jeder Ecke… hier im Geothermalgebiet Seltun machen schwefelhaltige Quellen und bunte Ablagerungen die vulkanische Aktivität sichtbar. Die intensive gelbe Farbe des Schwefels kontrastiert stark mit dem dunklen Boden und den dampfenden Quellen, was die Landschaft fast außerirdisch wirken lässt. Der charakteristische Geruch nach faulen Eiern ist freilich allgegenwärtig.
