Even though I am not covering the current fest, I could not take my eyes off Void War, a love child of WH40K and Faster Than Light

On one side, some may be bothered by the carbon copying of the mechanics of FTL

On the other hand, it's been almost 13 years since it released, and no true sequel was ever produced, only imitators

My take: you can copy, but you should do one thing differently to stand out, having a handcrafted universe would have been nice
