Beside the nature house, there's a short trail that leads to the gazebo/outdoor classroom area. It's a nice spot to have a picnic in the shade, when there's not educational programs happening because it has seating & a table.
The #WheelchairPath / #AccessibleTrail is on the left. The native plant garden trail is on the right (not an accessible trail for wheelchair users). You can see plenty of native plants & trees along the accessible trail though.

#SwanLakeNatureSanctuary - the #NatureHouse. This is where I worked out of in my late 20s, as a nature interpreter/educator for public school field trips for a few months. I taught out of the nature house, an outdoor gazebo & on the central dock at the nature sanctuary.
There's been several upgrades to the nature house & to the nature sanctuary, since the early 2000s.
