I took these pictures of dog tooth #violets yesterday right near where I take pictures of the #Outlook. They come and go so quickly at this time of year. Within a matter of a week or two the leaves will all vanish back into the #forest floor after the #flowers have done what they will this year.

The common violets are volunteers in the perennial garden. If they start taking up too much space, I remove a few. But right now they are providing most of the good cheer in the garden.
