sgt1372I went to the #VineCinema in #Livermore to watch #ACompleteUnknown which is a biopic about #Dylan in his early years.
If you've never been to the Vine it's one of those movie houses where they serve food & alcohol & have tables & sofas.
Not sure if I liked it because I'm of that generation & grew up listening to his music or because it actually was a well made movie.
I'm also not sure whether the actors playing Dylan & #JoanBaez , who the movie suggests (again don't know if its true or not) had an affair with him, actually sang or were dubbed but the music/singing was "good" & very nostalgic for this OG who grew up in listing to the music of the 60's & 70's.
The crowd that the movie reminded me of the folks I see at classical music performances -- mostly grey haired OGs like me -- just not as well dressed.
LOL! 😉
Anyway, I'd give the movie an 8 out 10 & it's going on my DVD "Buy List."
And I'm pulling out my old Dylan LPs & CDs to listen to them again. 🙂
