Metal Gear Solid from 1998 long before social media picked apart every minute of video games where there all the info was out before you played.
Imagine my surprise then, when sitting back after my first every play through and realising the end score was in #Irish #asgaelige sung by Aoife Ní Fhearraigh from only little over an hour away!

Demon Queen LucretiaLate addition to #VGMWednesday. This weeks theme is #VideoGameVocals, and I wanted to submit one of the Silent Hill Tracks.
Perhaps your first thought would be "You're Not Here" which is a banger, but I want to go to the thoroughly underrated Silent Hill 4 OST with "Tender Sugar".
I think SH4 is probably the weakest of the 4 core Silent Hill games, but I do also think it might have the best soundtrack. It's really varied and while not quite as creepy and nightmarish it just contains loads of really solid atmospheric and spooky tracks, as well as a few really good songs like this one.

I've been playing Pokemon Black for the first time and I was so shocked to hear the vocals when I talked to that one guy in Village Bridge, and I went out of my way to talk to all the musicians to get the full song.
I lingered in that area for a good while just listening to it. It made me want to cry.

COMPU73E ❄️There aren't many game soundtracks that are able to make me emotional like the Persona soundtracks are, but the Trails series, and Zero no Kiseki (Trails from Zero) in particular is one of them. Listening to this reminds me why I love those isometric PSP Trails games so much, with their tiny little characters that I care so much about

The Crush 40 vocal themes from the Dreamcast era Sonic games are butt rock -par excellence-, and I wouldn't have them any other way. Live and Learn from Sonic Adventure 2 is the best example of this, and the orchestral arrangement from the 30th anniversary Sonic Symphony lights up all the right spots on my brain. <3
