I found these potter wasp nests while pruning the plants on my balcony last September. Apparently Iβm doing something right; Iβve noticed new species every year since I started planting native wildflowers around the property. Should I start logging observations?

Yesterday was the first time Iβve seen potter wasp nests in my garden. These vespids can be beneficial, collecting beetle larvae and caterpillars to provision their offspring. They lay a single egg in each pot and seal the entrance.

Bonus round: wing work on the #Vespid warrior. Just painting the leading edges blue this time.
Found some time to work some models after all. Added basing materials to the #Vespid #Stingwings specialists, drone, and the 1/4 warriors I've built so far. (His leg arrived broken off the sprue.)
First time I've gone this heavy on the gravel, trying to cover up the bump they've all got around their modeled tactical rubble. Trying PVA glue again because my CA glue has gone gummy.
Yesterday: Priming models from my #WarhammerUnderworlds backlog and finish building #KillTeam #Vespid #Shadestrain.

The Shadestrain's chest piece was missing from the sprue so I got to modify the corresponding Warrior chest to accommodate the chest armor. Super-minor kitbash but was fun to execute.
