The #vanguardist #truism of a "scientific" #revolution isn't true in the sense it's used in, but it's kind of true in other ways.

Revolution is always developing and ongoing. It belongs to #humanity. We figure out what works from observed #evidence, not what we want to work. It's grounded in the real #world, with its #living complexities.

Of all sciences, revolution is least like #Western #science, with its disembodied universalisms. But that's how vanguards paint it.
