Late rush of NBA draft withdrawals reshapes college basketball rosters
College basketball rosters are nearly set for next season. Several potential first-round picks withdrew from the NBA draft and chose to return to school just before the deadline on Thursday. Former Baylor player Tounde Yessoufou committed to St. John's. Alabama's Amari Allen, Arkansas' Billy Richmond, and others also decided to stay in college. Former Iowa State forward Milan Momcilovic pulled out of the draft and became a top prospect. Arizona, Kentucky, Louisville, and St. John's are reportedly interested. Arizona's Koa Peat and others stayed in the draft. With draft prospects set, teams are preparing for the upcoming season.
