Here’s the thiing about VanBadham’s writing, you’re either comfortable with it or you’re not. That’s it. Everything else about it comes down to ‘is it the truth?’, or ‘is she laying it on a bit thick?’ The plain truth is there are no lies in her articles, they just make us feel very uncomfortable at time. And so they should because she works hard at breaking down the ‘new-normal’ layers being lathered on by main stream media and propaganda newstainment corporations over our social conscience sensitivity. The whole reason for the current ‘information overload’ is to overwhelm our sense of ethical and moral judgement. The more shit is thrown at us the more likely we’ll adapt to living in a sewerags pit where the ‘new’ robber barons wish to corral the rest of us.
With the above in mind, Van’s latest is a must read:

‘There was a time when leaders sought government to influence history, not to roll over supine to unelectable dweebs they would have rightfully avoided at high school.’

Elon Musk’s Grok made the world less safe – his humiliating backdown gives me hopium

The AI chatbot’s torrent of nonconsensual deepfakes isn’t its first scandal and won’t be its last. Responsible governments should simply ban it

“This is the sixth attempt at a plastic pollution treaty since plastic started turning up in brains, livers, kidneys, blood, joints and your balls, and the UN decided “hey, maybe this is a problem?” back in 2022. The previous five attempts have failed…

“Well may some men fear that the radical humanity of feminism will deprive them of status, power and even identity – but it’s not the sisterhood busting your balls, fellas. It’s chiefly the fossil-fuel interests of usual suspects like China, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the US in the form of 460m tonnes of synthetic garbage spewed on to the planet every year.

“Now microplastics are found everywhere from the peak of Mt Everest to the depths of the Mariana Trench. Lord Howe Island is a volcanic rock island about 600km off the Australian east coast governed under a conservation authority applying strict visitor controls, and if you squeeze the muttonbirds there (please don’t), they are so full of plastic that they crunch.”

Microplastics are everywhere, even in human testicles. So will the patriarchy finally step in?

It’s not the sisterhood busting your balls, fellas – it’s the fossil fuel interests making money from the tonnes of synthetic garbage spewed on to the planet every day

I asked ChatGPT to write a working class defence of poker machines. It refused on the grounds that any such defence would be ludicrous. #VanBadHam
