Another night of bad sleep because I can't stop thinking of how the #EU is trying to turn an open and democratic society into a surveillance dystopia with the #ChatControl and #DigitalServicesAct (EU's version of the #OnlineSafetyAct).

An observation: #sciencefiction #scifi #speculativefiction etc. with large human population in the future has inadvertently dated itself. The #fertility #rate has decreased with no sign of turn-around. The global estimates of future #population assume that the fertility rate will magically go up in the near future. Not to mention that #poverty due to lack of #redistribution worsens health outcomes. And #climatechange
