@[email protected] in 2006 I started a group whose advocacy helped spur Gov Patrick to support the #Massachusetts portion of the #HartfordLine. This built support for the #ValleyFlyer. We now have trains that enable ppl to go from #Greenfield to #NYC. Most legislators were afraid of supporting rail. I spoke with the Chair of the Transportation Committee from #WMass no less. All concern was about a bus company's opposition's oversized influence.
Our bigger goal was #EastWestRail
