Many of these boats were made to supply the remote West Coast of Scotland with various design changes along the way, early models steam driven, latterly diesel. All shared a maximum length determined by the locks of the #CrinanCanal Made famous by the Para Handy books written by Neil Munro, & filmed variously. #VIC32 a steam puffer plies it's trade in the summer months as a passenger vessel, cheerily belching clouds of black smoke visible from far & wide, even over the horizon
