I finally got hold of a VHS-to-DVD recorder and converted the Mira Anju VHS tapes I've bought.

I'd never used one of these machines before so left it on the 'LP' recording quality pre-set.

I'm viewing the DVDs on a 55'' TV, using zoom to get rid of the tracking lines from the VHS; so the visual quality is quite poor.

Is it worth re-doing the tapes using the 'SP' recording option? Would it really make that much difference?
