Yesterday the U.S. Department of Defense or whatever they call it now decided that my religion isn't a possible religion, along with a lot of other people's religions. I'm a UU. This won't have an impact on my personal daily life, but as a member of a minority group religion, I definitely do notice it. I normally try not to mention religion on social media, but I don't see my own students on Mastodon, so I guess it's OK. Here I am, and I'm still a UU. #UU #UnitarianUniversalism #religion

@AliceMarshall @IveyJanette Welp. Guess my own faith (UU)has been excluded from US military recognized religions. Someone needs to tell a lot of Senators and Congressmen.
