Not long now till the #Geminid meteor shower, the second-best of the year, which peaks on 13-14 December. The Moon will be just past new, so when the radiant is high in the southeast around midnight, rates of 20-50 per hour are possible โ if you have clear skies!
Also in December, the #Ursids (URS) peak on 23rd however the Moon will be waxing gibbous and so donโt expect much more than one or two meteors per hour.
